What is Fractional Ownership ?
Fractional ownership is about a way of owning an item for a fraction of a year, and only incurring the costs associated with the owning of that item for the term of what fraction is owned. You share the investment with other people or companies. You invest in the amount of time you would like to own, and other companies or people invest in the shares they would like. Fractions vary substantially, but our shared interests generally begin at 1/26 of a year (14 days) and go up. Annual intervals can be 1/26 (14 day) or 1/13 of a year (28 Days), 3/26 of a year (42 Days) to as long as you want. Two weeks annually to a month annually, to 6 weeks or more on an annual basis. There a many different terms associated to these mutual arrangements and vary depending on the level of service, the quality of amenities, and the levels of comfort or convenience supplied for your lifestyle. There are interest, traditional, and PRC or PRC's. Fractionals today are used in a wide range of industry. Aircraft, jet, yachts, boats, homes, vacation homes, condos, hotels, apartments, real estate, and even RV. Ownerships of fractionals give the owners exclusive access to this property for the set term, or interval owned on a perpetual basis. The properties are deeded to the owners. These types of mutual ownerships originated over seven hundred years ago, and were originally used on boats and ships for carrying cargo, as well as for exploration purposes.
